Dr. Abdel Nasser Mohammed Abdel Hameed

This research aimed at designing a program based on interactive chatbots and surfing the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and show its effect on developing educational research skills and academic self-efficacy of postgraduate students in faculty of education. The research depended on the quasi-experimental design and one experimental group design with pre\post-test to measure the effect size of using the proposed program (independent variable) on developing some educational research skills and academic self-efficacy (dependent variables). The Group of the research consisted of (21) students of preliminary master (Curriculum and methods of teaching) In the Faculty of Education, Menoufia University. The following results were revealed: There was a statistically significant difference at level (α <0.05) between the overall mean scores of the research group students in educational research skills pre\ post- test and its subcomponents (defining and stating the research problem, writing literature and related studies, design and application, statistical treatment, interpreting and discussing research results, documentation and writing references) each in favor of post administration students. There was a statistically significant difference at level (α <0.05) between the overall mean scores of the research group students in the academic self-efficacy pre\post-test and its sub-skills (academic effort, task management, academic self-arrangement, and academic support). The effect size of using the program based on interactive chatbots and surfing the Egyptian knowledge bank on developing both of educational research skills and academic post graduate students was high. In the light of the previous results some suggestions and recommendations were presented.
